Out In The She-Shed

I want to send out a huge thank you to all the girls in the She-Shed program at Hillsboro R-3 Junior High for letting me come out and speak to them about Self-ValYOU recently!

I had awesome volunteers and the teachers there were so supportive and encouraging! Everyone was super engaged and participated so well.

There was the best mix of girls who all are into different activities with different personalities but they still come together to talk about issues that face girls!

I am looking forward to coming back soon so I can speak to the Intermediate School students! It was a bonus too that I wore the shirt I had on today because the Hawks’ colors are blue and white💙🦅(that emoji may be an eagle? But hey I’m trying 😂 #closeenough)

FUN FACT: I wore this shirt when I was 12 years old and if you look around on the website, you MIGHT see it somewhere else!!! I did not even remember that when I put it on to go speak and I don't know if it is good or bad that I can still wear a shirt I wore when I was 12 😂
