Gold Award!

This past week I was very excited to have earned my Gold level National President's Volunteer Service Award, in conjuction with

AmeriCorps and Points of Light. It is the 5th year in a row that I have earned the Gold level award. It has taken a lot of service hours and I am proud of every single one of them! I have always said as I get older I want to leave a legacy of youth community service, and am working towards my Lifetime level award! When I do different service projects I share about it so that other teenagers and young people can see that it is a great thing to do work in our communities, and also so they see other people are doing it too, which hopefully makes them want to get out and volunteer themselves.
